Secondary Department

Secondary Department is one of the biggest departments of IPD and mostly deals with teachers professional development activities for secondary level (5-11 grade) teachers, learning and extending the progressive experiences and providing access to world best achievements on education.

Secondary Education conducts varies module of training activities, based on teachers needs and condition.
The following are the type of courses provided by IPD, secondary education:

  • Module courses conducted 3 days per year lasted for 3 years. Teachers choose topic and does research work
  • Short 3-6 days training workshops for key/teachers focused on developing planning and training skills
  • 15-18 days trainings are conducted upon teachers request on advanced methodology/pedagogy/physiology, upgrading subject knowledge and normative documents on Educational policy
  • Correspondent courses are conducted on contract base and reqirements

    Secondary Education component conducts workshop on the following subjects

  • Languages(Tajik, English, Russian, German, Persian/Arabic )
  • Science(Physics, Math,Chemistry, Biology,Geography)
  • Social science
  • Drawing, Music, Physical training

    The duration of the courses are usually up to 15 days but there are possibilities of adding or decreasing days

     3.Health Education Project(HEP)

    HEP- IPD provides training for primary and secondary teachers, and schoolchildren, methodologists, doctors and nurses and Parents Committees (PCs) Parents & Teachers Associations (PTAs), Village Organisations (VOs), and other community members with the purpose of contribution to the improved health and nutrition status of the population by promoting the concept of disease prevention among all stakeholders and ensuring that communities have access to health related information and can take informed decisions on their health. The course program covers following areas Teachers guide to methodology, Hygiene, Environmental education, Safety and first Aid, Dental hygiene, Nutrition
    Healthy Mind-Healthy Body (Mental health, puberty, STIs, HIV/AIDS, Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Family planning ) with using the needed literature and experiences of International Organization.
