Four school camps for leisure activities of children and youth of GBAO received excellent presents from the IPD, GBAO. The director of IPD, GBAO, Mr. Juma Bulbulov, personally handed out the presents to the children and youth of the camp at school #6 of Rushan district.
The methodologist of IPD, coordinator of the Health education program, Mr. Zafar Dorghabekov, informed that the present includes a package of sports equipment: a table tennis, volleyball, basketball and football nets, balls, chess and checkers and others. This equipment is intended for use in school Health clubs. For three years now health clubs are being set up in secondary schools. At the moment there are 24 of them in the region.
According to Mr. Dorghabekov, the health clubs aim to educate the schoolchildren how to lead a healthy lifestyle, to collaborate with local government authorities, institutions of health and culture, social organizations for prophylactic of diseases, and to facilitate further involvement of the youth in athletics and sports. The sports equipment for four health clubs was obtained through the generous financial support of the European Commission. 
The school director, Ms. Ziyoratmo Vafoeva, thanked the leadership of IPD, GBAO for demonstrating care and support towards improvement of the health condition of the schoolchildren and their family members as large. As she noted at the ceremony, if until now the members of the health club were involved in theory and organization of activities for leading a healthy lifestyle, today they can engage in athletics and sports for the same purpose.
